PERRYVILLE -- Evelyn M. Buatte, 79, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at Brewer. She was born March 17, 1918, at St. Marys, daughter of William V. and Rose M. Zahner Moonier. She first married W.E. McAtee, who died Jan. 14, 1977. She later married Elmer Buatte, who died Dec. 31, 1984...

PERRYVILLE -- Evelyn M. Buatte, 79, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at Brewer.

She was born March 17, 1918, at St. Marys, daughter of William V. and Rose M. Zahner Moonier. She first married W.E. McAtee, who died Jan. 14, 1977. She later married Elmer Buatte, who died Dec. 31, 1984.

Buatte was retired from Prince Gardner. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Gary McAtee, a daughter, Betty Herron, a brother, Floyd Moonier, all of Perryville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two brothers, and three sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Gerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
