ORAN -- Evan Mason "Bud" Stigall, 78, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Oran, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 1992, at St. Luke's Hospital in San Antonio.

He was born April 28, 1913, at Blodgett, son of Charlie W. and Ada Mason Stigall. He and Lucille Graviett were married Dec. 25, 1934, at Oran.

Stigall was a truck driver with Husman-Roper and Yellow Freight Line in St. Louis. After retiring he moved to Texas in 1978 and worked for E.E.G. Automobile Research.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shirley Guiling of San Antonio; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Jack Bishop will officiate, with burial in Friend Cemetery at Oran.

There is no visitation.
