Eva B. Snider, 97, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation. She was born Sept. 1, 1903, in Allenville, Mo., daughter of Robert Lee and Jessie M. Dewese Waddle. She and Emory Snider were married April, 1923, in Jackson, Mo. He died Dec. 26, 1991...

Eva B. Snider, 97, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born Sept. 1, 1903, in Allenville, Mo., daughter of Robert Lee and Jessie M. Dewese Waddle.

She and Emory Snider were married April, 1923, in Jackson, Mo. He died Dec. 26, 1991.

Snider was a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau County.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Wallace of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son and two brothers.

Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

A graveside funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.
