SCOTT CITY -- Eva Lois Riley, 83, of Scott City died Tuesday, April 29, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 7, 1914, at Leora, daughter of Samuel and Della Smothers Story. She and Everett Riley were married Jan. 12, 1934, at Benton.
Riley was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Richard Riley of Scott City, Larry Riley of Red Bud, Ill., Jerome Riley of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Ruby Marler of Portageville, Verla Koffel of Holcomb; a half brother, Otis Story of Dexter; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
