OLMSTED, Ill. -- Eva Bell Marrs, 82, of Olmsted died Sunday, May 20, 2001, at Meridian Manor Nursing Home in Mounds, Ill.

She was born Dec. 1, 1918, in White County, Ill., daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret Smith Costellia. She married Orville Marrs, who died in 1977.

Formerly of Villa Ridge, Ill., she attended Living Hope Fellowship Church in Grand Chain, Ill.

Survivors include a son, Melvin Marrs of Olmsted; two granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters, and two brothers.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City, Ill., after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Danny Beggs officiating. Burial will be in Mound City National Cemetery.
