ANNA, Ill. -- Eva Harrell, 95, of Jacksonville, Ark. and formerly of Anna died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1992, at her home. She was born Sept. 11, 1896, near Alto Pass, the daughter of James S. and Cora Stone Gore. On May 5, 1935, she married William Alonzo Harrell, who preceded her in death July 10, 1947...

ANNA, Ill. -- Eva Harrell, 95, of Jacksonville, Ark. and formerly of Anna died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1992, at her home.

She was born Sept. 11, 1896, near Alto Pass, the daughter of James S. and Cora Stone Gore. On May 5, 1935, she married William Alonzo Harrell, who preceded her in death July 10, 1947.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna and was a retired schoolteacher.

Survivors include a daughter, Cora Evelyn Vandergraph of Jacksonville, Ark.; a sister, Ruth Gore Browning of Anna; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gerald Bethards will officiate, and burial will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
