EVA C. ASLIN

BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Mrs. Eva Caroline Aslin will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Pennington will officiate, with burial in Walker Cemetery near here.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Mrs. Aslin, 88 years old, died Sunday, April 14, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 24, 1902, at Bloomfield, daughter of Eli and Ida Estes Pruitt. She married Ernest Aslin Dec. 19, 1919, who died Dec. 23, 1983.

Mrs. Aslin was a member of Walker General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gorty Aslin of Bloomfield, Clinton Aslin of Haughton, La.; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ernest and Kenneth Aslin, and a daughter, Leah Fischer.
