MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Euva Mae Brown, 71, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 16, 1942, at Lutesville, Mo., daughter of Woodrow W. and Eleanora C. Shell. She and Jerry Wayne Brown were married March 4, 1961, in Marble Hill.
Euva was a retired production technician at Monsanto in the St. Louis area, and attended Marble Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wayne Brown of Marble Hill; a son, Kenny (Mary) Brown of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, Stephanie (Dan) Shaw of Marble Hill; a brother, Edward L. Shell of McClure, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Catherine, Jonathan, Renee, Devon, Michelle, Zachary, Carissa and Deanna; and a great-granddaughter, Haylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeffrey Brown; and a brother, Waymond Shell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.
