SIKESTON -- Eunice V. Denton, 86, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born May 18, 1907, at Wardell, daughter of Mariah Obadiah and Rebecca Teroy Hickerson. She and Van B. Denton were married June 1, 1924, at Marked Tree, Ark. He died April 16, 1985.
Denton was a hairdresser many years, and member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Adams of Sikeston; three half brothers, Sam Warren of Sanford, Fla., Hoyt Warren of Kenton, Tenn., Hubert Hill of Morehouse; four half sisters, Lula Lay of Hampton, Va., Mary Crosby of Kansas City, Darlene Gardner of Fayetteville, Ark., Dixie Walker of Poplar Bluff; two stepbrothers, Bert Hickerson of Oxnard, Calif., Jack Hickerson of Lake of the Ozarks; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
