PULASKI, Ill. -- Eunice "Polly" Masterson, 84, of Lake Barrington, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at Long Grove Manor in Long Grove, Ill.
She was born Nov. 10, 1917, in Pulaski, daughter of Ira and Elizabeth Reeves Lackey. She and Joseph Bernard Masterson were married Dec. 12, 1945, in Mound City, Ill.
Masterson had been a beautician in Mounds and Cairo, Ill., and retired as co-owner of a motel in South Haven, Mich.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Joseph Masterson Jr. of Indianapolis, Ind., Thomas Masterson of Bannockburn, Ill., Bruce Masterson of Riverwoods, Ill.; a brother, George Lackey of Anna, Ill.; a sister, Lois Davis of Kansas City, Kan.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, Ill., from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday. A wake will be held at 5:30.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
