CAMPBELL, Mo. -- Eulas Dean Comstock, 58, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at 3:50 a.m. in his home in Campbell. He was formerly of Mississippi County. He was born May 1, 1938, at Elizabeth, Ark., son of John and Rosezitta Helms Comstock. On Dec. 23, 1956, he married Rita Hedge, who preceded him in death on June 9, 1974...

CAMPBELL, Mo. -- Eulas Dean Comstock, 58, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, at 3:50 a.m. in his home in Campbell. He was formerly of Mississippi County.

He was born May 1, 1938, at Elizabeth, Ark., son of John and Rosezitta Helms Comstock. On Dec. 23, 1956, he married Rita Hedge, who preceded him in death on June 9, 1974.

He had lived in the St. Louis area for several years, where he was employed with the Schaller Lumber Company as a forklift operator.

He is survived by two sons, Dean Martin Comstock of Charleston, and Steve Simmons of Scott City; four daughters: Vickie Milner of the state of Texas, Deborah Kay Nickles of Campbell, Pamela Faye Paul of Garittesville, Ohio, and Malissa Ann Comstock of Scott City; one brother, William "Bud" Comstock of East Lake, Ohio; six sisters: Tressie Finley of Erie, Kan., Festna Lawrence of Chardon, Ohio, Bernice Dean of Painesville, Ohio, Louise Smith of Granite City, Ill., Ruth Hayden of Campbell, and Exie Chastain of Paragould, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. Rev. Arvil Croy of Advance will officiate. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
