TAMMS, Ill. -- Eula Schlamer Vaughn, 81, of Miller City and formerly of Olive Branch died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1992, at the home of her daughter in Miller City. She was born Nov. 12, 1910, at Cache, the daughter of Emile and Jennie Hewitt Schlamer. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Vaughn, on Oct. 26, 1985...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Eula Schlamer Vaughn, 81, of Miller City and formerly of Olive Branch died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1992, at the home of her daughter in Miller City.

She was born Nov. 12, 1910, at Cache, the daughter of Emile and Jennie Hewitt Schlamer. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Vaughn, on Oct. 26, 1985.

Survivors include three sons, Frank and William E. Vaughn, both of Olive Branch, and David Vaughn of Bellflower; six daughters, Genevieve Thomas and Barbara Willougby, both of Miller City, Nora Thompson and Sue Biggar, both of Plano, Texas, Mary Lingle of Thebes, and Fay Kowitz of Orange, Calif.; a sister, Emma Henton of Olive Branch; four brothers, Dick, Louis and Gerald Schlamer, all of Thebes, and Carl Schlamer of Wood River; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandson.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds, with the Rev. Darryl Neathery officiating. There will be no visitation, and Jones Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of the arrangements.
