Eula Cordelia Poston, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Heartland Care Rehab Center. She was born Nov. 6, 1918, at Laflin, daughter of Harold B. and Esther M. Stevens Smith. Poston was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Poston of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Harry Smith of Jackson, Harold Smith of Silva; and a sister, Maybelle Chilton of Jackson...

Eula Cordelia Poston, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Heartland Care Rehab Center.

She was born Nov. 6, 1918, at Laflin, daughter of Harold B. and Esther M. Stevens Smith.

Poston was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Poston of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Harry Smith of Jackson, Harold Smith of Silva; and a sister, Maybelle Chilton of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barks Chapel near Crump. Harold Althen will officiate. Burial will be in the chapel cemetery.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
