EULA HESTER

DELTA -- Funeral for Eula Marie Hester of Delta will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Glen Golden will officiate, with burial in Kenyon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today.

Hester, 90, died Thursday, April 1, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland, Ill.

She was born Dec. 9, 1908, at Delta, daughter of Henry and Martha Brase Schearf. She and John R. Hester were married Oct. 5, 1931. He died Aug. 23, 1985.

Hester was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Hester of Clovis, N.M., John Hester of Highland, Donald Hester of Chaffee; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three brothers, and a sister.
