SIKESTON -- Eul Lee Counts, 73, of Sikeston died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at his home.
He was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Reyno, Ark., son of Cecil and Lydia Barton Counts. He and Ruthine Taylor were married Oct. 25, 1947.
Counts was a maintenance supervisor with Capraco, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Velma Oliver of Sikeston; his mother of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Richard Counts of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Ann Stafford of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and his father.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Elder Steve Palmer officiating. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Richwood Cemetery in Corning, Ark.
