MARBLE HILL -- Eugene Wilkinson, 68, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 31, 1928, at Hahn, son of David Elbert and Grace Marie Shell Wilkinson. He and Maxine P. Fisher were married April 18, 1954...

MARBLE HILL -- Eugene Wilkinson, 68, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 31, 1928, at Hahn, son of David Elbert and Grace Marie Shell Wilkinson. He and Maxine P. Fisher were married April 18, 1954.

Wilkinson was a member of First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, VFW Post 5900, and Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, David Wilkinson of Grassy, Larry and Mitchell Wilkinson of Marble Hill; three daughters, Kay Brown and Sharon Jaco of Marble Hill, Tina Kelley of Delta; a sister, Laverne Graham of Chaffee; and 15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, two brothers, and two grandsons.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Gene Robbins and Randy Poole officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
