ALLENVILLE -- Funeral for Eugene W. Noble of Allenville will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. C.B. Stidham will officiate. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
Friends may call at the chapel after 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Noble, 78, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 2, 1921, at Blodgett, son of Thomas Motley and Annie Arzula Fox Noble.
Noble was a retired cabinetmaker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was awarded two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart.
Survivors include a son, Phillip Noble of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two brothers, Robert Noble of Advance, Raymond Noble of Memphis, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
