PERRYVILLE -- Eugene Charles Coffelt, 77, of Perryville, died Wednesday, July 17, 1996, at his home.
He was born Sept. 30, 1918, at Silver Lake, son of Walter and Clara Henderson Coffelt. He and Ruth Ann Hudson were married June 30, 1952.
Coffelt was a retired truck driver. He was a member of VFW Post 4282, American Legion Post 133, and AmVets.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Loraine Bosanko of Honolulu, Hawaii, Lois Coffelt of Perryville; a son, Charles Coffelt of Perryville; three brothers, Jimmy Coffelt of Perryville, Ralph Coffelt of Milwaukee, Wis., Walter Coffelt Jr. of Las Cruces, N.M.; two sisters, Emma Hudson of Perryville, Genevieve Firestack of Denison, Texas; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Bob Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
