ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ettadean Stephens, 94, of Bloomfield, Missouri, passed away Oct. 5, 2021, at the Puxico Nursing Center in Puxico, Missouri. She was born March 4, 1927, in Advance, the daughter of Jim and Mary Ethel Hendrickson Livers. Ettadean and Charles "Doc" Stephens were united in marriage on April 6, 1946, in Cape Girardeau and he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2011...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ettadean Stephens, 94, of Bloomfield, Missouri, passed away Oct. 5, 2021, at the Puxico Nursing Center in Puxico, Missouri.

She was born March 4, 1927, in Advance, the daughter of Jim and Mary Ethel Hendrickson Livers. Ettadean and Charles "Doc" Stephens were united in marriage on April 6, 1946, in Cape Girardeau and he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2011.

Ettadean spent her life as homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Stephens of Bloomfield and Robert E. (Karen) Stephens of Wappapello, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Katrina Stephens of Sikeston, Missouri, Shawn Patterson of Bloomfield and James Heiter of Marianna, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Michael Kim Stephens; six brothers and four sisters.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance with the Rev Glen Eftink officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery near Advance.

Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the VFW #3830 in Cape Girardeau.
