VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Etta Marie Callis, 72, of Elvins, Mo., formerly of Mounds, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 1992, at her home.
She was born June 10, 1919, in Harrisburg, Ill.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Mounds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clinton Callis, on July 6, 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Garland Asbell of Las Cruces, N.M., and Terry Asbell of Des Moines, Iowa; two daughters, Sharon Jackson of Elvins, Mo., and Debra Asbell of Los Angeles, Calif.; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, with the Rev. Earnest Browning officiating. Internment will be in the National Cemetery in Mound City.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
