SIKESTON, Mo. -- Etta Adaline "Addie" Hughes, 85, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born July 22, 1915, in Corinth, Miss., daughter of Arthur Daniel and Signora Michael Deloach. She married Clifton McClendon, who preceded her in death. She later married William Edward Hughes, who also preceded her in death.
Hughes was a meat cutter at Kroger more than 20 years. She had been a member of Amalgamated Meat Cutters Union.
Survivors include a sister, Pearalee "Polly" Ramsey of Jacksonville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Charles K. Patterson II will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
