Etta Elizabeth Huey, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Sept. 7, 1917, in Oriole, daughter of Henry and Minnie Farrow Perry. She and Robert W. "Duck" Huey were married July 26, 1941, in Jackson. He died Sept. 29, 1989.
She was a member of Iona Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann Haertling of Altenburg, Mo., Linda Barber and husband John of Brazeau, Mo.; two sons, Tim Huey and wife Cindy of Cape Girardeau, Larry Huey and wife Sandra of Scott City; two brothers, Leonard Perry and wife Jo of Cape Girardeau, Clarence Perry and wife Nadine of Florida; a sister-in-law, Helen Perry of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren, Mark Haertling, Kim Haertling, Amber Kuehn, Wayne Huey, David Huey, Gavin Barber, Beckey Picker, Kirstin Huey and Aaron Huey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two infant sons, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and from 12:30 p.m. to service time Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
No visitation or funeral on Sunday.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rocky Tallent officiating. Burial will be in Iona Baptist Cemetery at Oriole.
