GLEN ALLEN -- Funeral service for Ethel May Wright of Glen Allen will be held at 10 a.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Rev. Fred Ritter will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Baxter Cemetery at Benton, Ill.
Wright, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, at her home.
She was born April 13, 1916, in Cobden, Ill., daughter of Francis Ray and Edith May Garner Kelley. She and Herbert Wright were married April 29, 1947, in Cobden. He died June 11, 1979.
Wright had attended First Baptist Church in Cobden. She had lived at Glen Allen since August 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Johnnie Wright of Bowling Green, Ky., Billie Wright of Godfrey, Ill.; a daughter, Peggy McCall of Glen Allen; two sisters, Lois Rawley of Caliente, Nev., Esther Casper of Cobden; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
