Ethel Rosalia Schlosser, 81, of Oran died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Monticello House in Jackson, Mo. She was born on Jan. 25, 1921, in Oran, the daughter of Frank Lawrence and Sophia Goetz Heisserer. She married Alfred H. Schlosser on Aug. 25, 1945, in Oran. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1998...

Ethel Rosalia Schlosser, 81, of Oran died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Monticello House in Jackson, Mo.

She was born on Jan. 25, 1921, in Oran, the daughter of Frank Lawrence and Sophia Goetz Heisserer. She married Alfred H. Schlosser on Aug. 25, 1945, in Oran. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1998.

She was a homemaker and member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. She also was a member of St. Ann Sodality in Oran.

She is survived by two sons, Jim Schlosser and wife Tammy of Herington, Kan., and Tom Schlosser and wife Patty of Jackson, Mo.; two brothers, Cornelius Heisserer of Chaffee, Mo., and George Heisserer of Creve Coeur, Mo.; a sister, Viola Dannenmueller of St. Louis; four grandchildren, K'Tina Kuenzi of Littleton, Colo., and Cody Schlosser, Kyle Schlosser and Kati Schlosser, all of Jackson; and a great-granddaughter, Brenna Kuenzi of Littleton, Colo.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

Burial will be at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.
