ETHEL M. MUNSON

Funeral service for Ethel Mae Munson of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Murphysboro, Ill., was held Sunday at Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro. The Rev. Dee Armes officiated, with entombment Monday at Washington Park Mausoleum in Indianapolis, Ind.

Munson, 89, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1993, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born May 19, 1903, in Pinckneyville, Ill., daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Pauline Blust Seibert. She first married Russell Baldwin Dec. 4, 1926, at Springfield. He died Feb. 2, 1955. She later married T.S. Munson June 28, 1958, in Murphysboro. He died Jan. 22, 1988.

Munson was a retired assistant buyer for the former W.P. Wasson Department Store in Indianapolis. She attended First Christian Church in Murphysboro, and was a charter member of Murphysboro Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a sister, Reita McCoskey of Murphysboro.
