SIKESTON -- Ethel J. Hubbert, 89, a resident of Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 1991, in Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born May 5, 1902, at Winfield, Ala., daughter of John Samuel and Mary Burleson Weaver.
On Oct. 17, 1921, she married Travis Hubbert. He died May 22, 1972.
Hubbert, formerly of Benton, was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ of Sikeston.
Survivors are sons, Clifford Hubbert, Benton, Ray Hubbert, Oran, Robert Hubbert, Sikeston, and Andrew Hubbert, O'Fallon; a daughter, Mary Roark, Augusta, Ga.; brothers, Uell Weaver, Salem, Ark., and Lincoln Weaver, Cherry Valley, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
A son, two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Service was held Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Pat Hogan, minister of Shady Acres Church of Christ, officiating. He was assisted by John Hoover. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
