ETHEL IDA RHUDE

Ethel Ida Rhude, 91, of Belleville, Illinois, formerly of Olmsted died at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, February 5 at the Castle Haven Nursing Home in Belleville.

She was born January 16, 1903 in Pulaski County to the late John and Viola T. Corzine Ervin.

She was a retired seamstress and a member of St. Catherine Church in Grand Chain.

Survivors include one daughter, Lois Minor, Mounds; one son, John M. Rhude, Belleville; three sisters, Dorothy Miller, Godfrey, Anna Luton, Summerfield, Florida, and Mae Goins, Olmsted. 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and other relatives survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Israel M. Rhude and one daughter, Jaunita Riale.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Grand Chain with Rev. Father Bill McGhee as Celebrant. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Monday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery in Grand Chain.
