TAMMS, Ill. -- Ethel Honey, 81, of Tamms died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 10, 1925, daughter of Harley and Pansy McKee McCrite. She and Gerald Honey were married March 26, 1949. He died Jan. 20, 1999.
Honey was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Elgin, Ill., and was retired for the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
Survivors include a son, R.J. Williams of Clarkton, Mo.; a sister, Jeanie Mae Zimmerman of Frankfort, Ill.; four brothers, Harley "Toad" McCrite of Olive Branch, Ill., Raymond McCrite of Tamms, and Earl and Paul McCrite of Florence, Ala.; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clint Nale officiating.
Burial will be in McCrite Cemetery.
