ETHEL E. CHAMBERLAIN

FREDERICKTOWN -- Ethel E. Chamberlain, 81, of Fredericktown, died Monday, Aug. 30, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 29, 1912, at Whitewater, daughter of Argis T. and Rose Barks Statler. She married Edgar Kaiser Dec. 24, 1930, who died Nov. 6, 1962. She then married Edgar Chamberlain June 6, 1973.

Chamberlain had been affiliated with Cedar Bottom General Baptist Church and Knob Lick Church of God.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Katherine Whitener of Fredericktown; a brother, Elmer Statler of Sequoia, Wash.; a sister, Alma Clauser of Fredericktown; a stepson, Elvis Chamberlain of Farmington; two stepdaughters, Ruth Hahn of Farmington, Mary Porter of Cape Girardeau; five stepgrandchildren, and three great-stepgrandchildren.

Funeral service will be Thursday at Wilson Funeral Chapel in Fredericktown. The Rev. Don Adamson will officiate, with burial in Marcus Memorial Park.
