ETHEL DUNCAN

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Ethel Mae Duncan of Anna will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Duncan, 73, died Monday, June 9, 1997, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born June 11, 1923, at Wolf Lake, daughter of Hollie and Esther Glasford Miller. She and Joe L. Duncan were married Oct. 11, 1940, in Union City, Tenn. He died Feb. 20, 1982.

Duncan was a member of First Baptist Church at Jonesboro.

Survivors include a son, Ron Duncan of Evansville, Ind.; five sisters, JoAnne McNew of Tampa, Fla., Alyne Bonds and Margaret Petty of Carterville, Gladys Claunch of Carbondale, and Janet Andrews of Kanopolis, Kan.
