BENTON, Mo. -- Ethel Cannon, 96, of Benton passed away Monday, May 29, 2017, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 31, 1920, in Little Black, Arkansas, to the late Mont and Tina Grisham Diamond. She married Frank Witt, and he preceded her in death.

Ethel was a cafe owner/cook. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Don (Martha) Witt of Oran, Missouri; a sister, Letha Spencer of Cape Girardeau; and one grandchild.

There will be no services.
