Funeral for Ethel Jewell Ford Bolen of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Darrell E. Faire Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Bolen, 94, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 29, 1908, at Blodgett, Mo., daughter of B.Z. and Dora Caler Wyatt. She and George Ford were married in 1925 in Cape Girardeau. He died Aug. 29, 1967. She later married Jess Bolen Jan. 13, 1972, at Benton, Mo. He died March 15, 1981.

Bolen lived in Cape Girardeau all her life. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church 84 years and taught Sunday School 43 years.

Survivors include two sons, Jack Ford of Cape Girardeau, Don Ford of Waco, Texas; two daughters, Wilda Kitchen and Rebecca Driskell of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Imogene Kelley of Memphis, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, a brother, four sisters, and a grandson.
