Ethel Baer

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ethel C. Baer, 91, of Perryville died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born June 6, 1911, in Perry County, daughter of Leon and Mary Sutterer Hoffman. She and Henry Baer were married April 5, 1932, in Perryville. He died April 22, 1981.

Baer was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Lohmann of Perryville; two sisters, Lucille Hayden and Eileen Cattoor of Perryville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
