ESTON H. MAYFIELD

PATTON -- Eston Harold "Eck" Mayfield, 79, of Patton, died Tuesday, May 16, 1995, at his home.

He was born Sept. 25, 1915, at Mayfield, son of John F. and Ercy Brown Mayfield. He and Sarah Elsie Woodmore were married April 5, 1945. She died Oct. 31, 1994.

Mayfield was employed by Civil Service and had also farmed. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a son, Eston Mayfield of Patton; two brothers, Marrell "Toots" Mayfield of Patton, Don Mayfield of Florissant; a sister, Nelda Wilkinson of Cape Girardeau, and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Marble Hill.
