ESTLE M. HORNBACK

MOUNDS, Ill. Estle Marie Hornback, 82, of Mounds, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1992, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

She was born Aug. 14, 1910, in Graves County, Ky., daughter of Arthur and Erma Brown Merideth. She married Ted Hornback, who preceded her in death.

Hornback was an operator with Illinois Bell Telephone Co. 21 years. She attended First Baptist Church in Mounds.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Gulley of Mounds; two sons, Teddy Hornback of Mounds, Eddie Hornback of Madisonville, Ky.; two sisters, Dorothy Axelson of Cairo, Emma Dowdy of Mounds; two brothers, T.J. Merideth of Mounds, Jim Merideth of Evansville, Ind.; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds. The Rev. Eugene Williams will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
