Funeral for Esther N. Yoffie of Memphis, Tenn., was held Tuesday in the Sam Abraham Chapel at Baron Hirsch Cemetery.

Canale Funeral Home in Memphis was in charge of arrangements.

Yoffie, 96, died Monday, March 1, 1999, at Memphis Jewish Home.

She married Nathan Yoffie, who preceded her in death.

They formerly owned the People's Store in Sikeston. She was a life member of Hadassah and the Baron Hirsch Congregation.

Survivors include two daughters, Laverne "Tootie" Hecht of Cape Girardeau, Marilyn Pollack of Memphis; seven grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
