ESTHER ROWE

MARBLE HILL -- Esther I. Rowe, 83, of Sparta, Ill., died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at Green Park Residential Care Center in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 7, 1916, at Greenbriar, daughter of Henry and Nona Bohnsack Umfleet. She and Harry B. Rowe were married April 19, 1941, at Sank.

Rowe retired from International Shoe Co. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nila Hays of Hillsboro; a brother, Loren Umfleet of Louisiana, Mo.; a sister, Wanda Pritchette of Bowling Green; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
