ESTHER MITCHELL

SIKESTON -- Funeral for Esther Mitchell of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lance Smith will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mitchell, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born June 26, 1918, at Holcomb, daughter of George Washington and Dollie Mae Davis Coleman. She and Earl A. Mitchell were married Nov. 24, 1934, at Caruthersville. He died April 14, 1991.

Mitchell was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Earlean Miller of Freeport, Fla.; two brothers, Norman Coleman of Maryland Heights, Lloyd Coleman of state of Montana; two sisters, Ilerea Hamilton of Fredericktown, Fannie Giles of Southaven, Miss.; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, and a sister.
