SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Esther Eldora Jenkins of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles Buck will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Jenkins, 84, died Friday, Aug. 27, 1993, in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 17, 1908, in Dell, Ark., daughter of Joseph Walter and Rosa Lee Harris Weems.

Jenkins was a bookkeeper at Missouri Delta Medical Center 23 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Jenkins of Katy, Texas, Daniel Jenkins of Naples, Fla.; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
