DEXTER -- Ester Mae Worley, 91, of Dexter died Friday, May 30, 1997, at Dexter Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 3, 1905, at Puxico, daughter of Charles T. and Leora Fowler Wilkerson. She and William S. Worley were married Nov. 11, 1922, at Puxico. He preceded her in death...

DEXTER -- Ester Mae Worley, 91, of Dexter died Friday, May 30, 1997, at Dexter Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 3, 1905, at Puxico, daughter of Charles T. and Leora Fowler Wilkerson. She and William S. Worley were married Nov. 11, 1922, at Puxico. He preceded her in death.

Worley was a member of Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Norval Worley of Dexter, Carol Worley of Wappapello, Ray Worley of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Jane Larsen of Dexter; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Murrell Duffie officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
