BELL CITY -- Estelle Jennings, 82, of Bell City, died Friday, July 26, 1996, at the home of a daughter in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 30, 1914, at Bell City, daughter of George and Ada Summers Garner. She and James Paul Jennings were married Dec. 28, 1931. He died Dec. 27, 1994.
Jennings had been a cook at Bell City Schools, and worked in factories at Bloomfield and Advance.
Survivors include two sons, Boyd and Larry Jennings of Bell City; two daughters, Joyce King and Brenda Stanfield of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, H.J. Garner of Jackson, Eugene Garner of Bell City; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Lynn Ash and Alvie Ash officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
