MCCLURE, Ill. -- Estell Stapleton, 95, of McClure died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 9, 1908, in Cunningham, Ky., daughter of Edward and Iva Ballard Edwards. She and Paul Stapleton were married in 1926. He died in 1963...

MCCLURE, Ill. -- Estell Stapleton, 95, of McClure died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 9, 1908, in Cunningham, Ky., daughter of Edward and Iva Ballard Edwards. She and Paul Stapleton were married in 1926. He died in 1963.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and a brother.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lindsey Cemetery, with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
