MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Ervin J. Mansker, 65, of Houston, Texas, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at his home.
He was born Feb. 8, 1935, in Lutesville, Mo., son of Louise and Edna Johnson Mansker.
He was a longshoreman and worked for the I.L.A. 42 years.
Survivors include a son, Ervin J. Mansker Jr. of Heartsville, Ala.; two daughters, Mitzi Mansker and Cheryl Henderson of Houston; a brother, Almon Mansker of Bloomfield, Mo.; four sisters, Lena Vangennip and Mary Parson of Marble Hill, Francis Patt of St. Charles, Mo., Louise Josey of Gordonville, Mo.; five grandchildren; and a friend, Maria Orozco.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dale Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Mansker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
