ERNST O. FUEHLER

JACKSON -- Ernst O. Fuehler, 82 years old, of Jackson Route 1, died Saturday, March 9, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born June 13, 1908 at Oak Ridge, son of Paul and Matilda Schmidt Fuehler.

He married Lillian Thauwald on March 5, 1935 at Shawneetown. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Donald Fuehler, St. Charles, and Roger and Harlan Fuehler, both of Jackson Route 1; one daughter, June Fuehler, Jackson Route 1; one brother, Gustav Fuehler of Cape Girardeau; and two sisters, Marie Siebel, Murphysboro, Ill., and Martha Lackey, Winston-Salem, N.C.

Five sisters preceded him in death.

He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Shawneetown and was a member of the Men's Club.

He owned and operated a garage in Shawneetown for 59 years.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church at Shawneetown with the Rev. Howard Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
