SIKESTON -- Ernestine Spencer, 53, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, May 16, 1995.

She was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Hughes, Ark., daughter of Lee and Marie Grant Golden.

Spencer was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, was a Sunday School teacher, and served on the usher board.

Survivors include her husband, Tommie Lee Spencer; a son, Charles Motton Jr. of Benton Harbor, Mich.; two daughters, Charlene Eddie and Sharon Motton of Benton Harbor; her father of Memphis, Tenn.; an aunt who raised her, Sadie Lambert of Sikeston, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Smith Chapel Church, with the Rev. Almarie Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
