Ernest E. Warren, 50, of Greenville, N.C., died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Chapel Hill, N.C., Medical Center. He was born Aug. 12, 1949, son of Clyde and Josephine Warren. Ernest E. Warren, 50, of Greenville, N.C., died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Chapel Hill, N.C., Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 12, 1949, son of Clyde and Josephine Warren. Following the death of his father, he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Josephine and Hurl Dale. He and Elizabeth Dottger were married April 28, 1972, in Cape Girardeau.

Warren lived in Cape Girardeau 25 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include a son, Ernest Warren of Greenville; a daughter, Michele Warren of Greenville; a sister, Debbie Dale of Marshall; three brothers, Danny and Derrick Warren of Scott City, Jim Dale of Jackson; and a grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather and two brothers.

There is no service planned at this time.
