Funeral service for Ernest N. Nance, 2800 Pioneer Drive, will be at 2 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jack Cathcart will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.
Nance, 70, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born May 20, 1925, in Whitewater, son of William Andrew and Effie Young Nance.
He had been employed by Cape Girardeau Public Works Department.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, Douglas Nance of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a daughter, Deborah Nance of Clarksville, Tenn.; four stepsons, Billy Price of Talladega, Ala., John, Richard and Jeffery Browne of Cape Girardeau; four stepdaughters, Deloris Mantz, Sandy Mayberry and Lavonda Casey, all of Cape Girardeau, Sherry Vance of Joplin; two sisters, Sadie Davis of Scott City, Alma Bacon of DuQuoin, Ill.; a grandchild; 11 stepgrandchildren, and five great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
