ERNEST DAVIS

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral Mass for Ernest E. Davis of Perryville will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Revs. Kevin Fausz and Felipe Martinez will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Davis, 72, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, at his home.

He was born Feb. 24, 1926, in Perryville, son of William and Hilda Bohnert Davis. He and Mollie Friese were married July 18, 1946.

Davis was a truck driver. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church, Holy Name Society, and 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary Lowes and Nancy Voelker of Perryville; a son, Frank Davis of Sedgewickville; his mother of Perryville; a brother, Earl Davis of Perryville; three sisters, Bertha Buehler, Dorothy Renner and Beulah Weisbrod, all of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, and a great-grandchild.
