Ermajean Mills

MARQUAND, Mo. -- Ermajean Izettia Mills, 89, of Marquand passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Claru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown, Missouri.

She was born July 17, 1927, at Marquand, daughter of Marvin and Parizettia Barker Reagan. She and the Rev. Nehemiah Francis Mills were married Jan. 11, 1947, and he passed away April 9, 2002.

Survivors include her sons, Marion (Judy) Mills of Marquand, Jeremiah (Nancy) Mills of Fredericktown, Jesse (Diana) Mills of Magee, Mississippi, David Mills of Marquand and Daniel (Shelley) Mills of Perryville, Missouri; her daughters, Burnetta (Mark Yount) Mills of Marquand, Izettia Anderton of Ellisville, Mississippi, and Mary Ellen (James) Thornton and Geraldine (Greg) Huddleston, both of Heidelberg, Mississippi; 10 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sons Hanson and Nehemiah Jay; brothers Lloyd, Dallas and Truman Reagan; sister Dessie Slinkard; and two infant granddaughters.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Missouri.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David McCutheon officiating. Burial will be in Union Light Cemetery near Marquand.
