ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Erma V. Lungwitz Oberndorfer, 86, of Altenberg died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born on Dec. 8, 1921, in Neeley's Landing, son of Reinhold C and Mary C. Baker Kranawetter. She and Elmer T. Lungwitz were married Nov. 15, 1942. He died Nov. 27, 1971. She then married Theophil B Oberndorfer on Jan. 12, 1974. He died March 3, 2007...

ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Erma V. Lungwitz Oberndorfer, 86, of Altenberg died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Dec. 8, 1921, in Neeley's Landing, son of Reinhold C and Mary C. Baker Kranawetter.

She and Elmer T. Lungwitz were married Nov. 15, 1942. He died Nov. 27, 1971. She then married Theophil B Oberndorfer on Jan. 12, 1974. He died March 3, 2007.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, the Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Mission League.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald L. Lungwitz of Jackson, Garry W. Lungwitz of Frohna, Mo.; a daughter, Charlotte Dunn of Marston, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Steven Dressler officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
